BOP has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NIC and LUMS for the Bank of Punjab Digital Experience and Innovation Center.
Mr. Zafar Masud (President & CEO-BOP) and Dr. Arshad Ahmad (Vice Chancellor, LUMS) emphasized the importance of industrial partnerships and collaborations for digital innovation in the long run.
In pursuit of digital innovation and evolution, The Bank of Punjab signed a project agreement with the National Incubation Center Lahore at LUMS to set up a Digital Experience and Innovation Center on NICL premises. The agreement was signed between LUMS Vice Chancellor, Mr. Arshad Ahmad, and the President of the Bank of Punjab, Mr. Zafar Masud.
This project agreement will further enable NICL with vertical-specific incubation and with collaborative opportunities to reimagine and design the banking experience of tomorrow under the #FinTech umbrella with the help of BOP. With this collaboration, startups will also have the opportunity to accelerate their FinTech businesses with the help of BOP and NICL.
