We are proud to announce the launch of NOWPDP’s Center of Excellence for Financial Inclusion (CEFI) in Lahore. CEFI embodies a hub-and-spoke model, reflecting our unwavering commitment to building a more inclusive financial sector.
The launch session was a truly inspiring event, led by Amin Hashwani, President of NOWPDP, and Omair Ahmad, CEO of NOWPDP. It was further enriched by the presence of our esteemed Chief Guest, Zafar Masud, CEO of The Bank of Punjab (BOP); Nadeem Abdullah, CEO of Sapphire Textile Mills Limited – STML; NOWPDP’s Global Ambassador Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY), CEO of the The World Of HSY; Sana Khurshid, Advisory Board Member of NOWPDP; and Mehreen Syed, Spokesperson of L’Oréall. Each guest passionately highlighted the importance of inclusivity in building a more equitable society and underscored the transformative potential of this center in creating meaningful impact.
The event brought together distinguished guests from diverse sectors, all united in their commitment to fostering an inclusive future. Representatives from PepsiCo Pakistan, Outfitters Stores, Interloop Limited, CyberSoft, Gree Pakistan, Smart Computing, Totsville, Riphah International University – Lahore Campus, LUMS, Falah Foundation, Milestone (Society for the Special Persons), and the LABARD – Lahore Businessmen Association for Rehabilitation of the Disabled joined in this meaningful occasion.
CEFI is thoughtfully designed to equip PWDs with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need to thrive in the financial sector. Through specialized training programs, mentorship, and career guidance, this center aims to break barriers and foster opportunities for an inclusive workforce.
